I scouted for inspiration on Pinterest for the mood board and got an idea in my head on how the final product is going to look like. The drawing is required to be completed in A2 so it was rather challenging to plan the layout initially.
I am terrible in painting and I couldn't use alcohol markers for this assignment as it is in A2 and the markers are more likely to dry out before completion. Hence, I had to improvise and learn different methods to colour. I am very satisfied with the outcome of the final piece, but I may have neglected the drafts. Even though I would prefer it to be monochrome, as you can see the difference...
REFLECTION
I am quite satisfied overall with my performance for this assignment, except the drafts part of course. Throughout the assignment, I did pick up some painting techniques for future references. But this assignment was meant to be a warm up for what's to come.
